Greenfield mining projects rarely fail because the engineering is wrong. They get delayed because land, R&R, approval sequencing, lease execution, stakeholder alignment and infrastructure readiness do not move together.

Most consulting firms either prepare reports, do liaison work, or provide technical inputs in isolation. Very few sit with the project team as the single, accountable advisor on the full execution chain.

Over three and a half decades of senior leadership across SAIL (Bhilai Steel Plant and Maharashtra Elektrosmelt Limited), ICVL Mozambique and Auro Infra Private Limited. Led the Takli–Jena–Bellora coal block in Chandrapur — India's first private-sector greenfield commercial coal block — from allocation through to commissioning, significantly ahead of the original CY 2025–26 target. The project received recognition from the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, for early operationalisation.
Previously served as Chief Operating Officer at ICVL Mozambique, leading coal production for SAIL and RINL via 600 km of rail to Beira Port. Completed the Rehabilitation and Resettlement of 272 families to enable Benga Mine expansion. Earlier, 15+ years in iron ore beneficiation at Bhilai Steel Plant, including advanced training in Austria, and six years as Technical Advisor to Executive Directors (Mines) at SAIL.
Holds an Environmental Lead Auditor certification from EARA UK and authored the Environmental Management System that secured ISO 14001 certification for Dalli Mechanised Mine in 1999.
